Chinese traditional medicine has had a long history, it has
developed over a period of at least 3000 years. Although
seemingly mystical, but it is widely used in the world. Chinese
traditional medicine is quite different from other medical
treatments. It has a different basic theory and specific
practice methods. The mental aspects of the patient are being
stressed in Chinese traditional medicine. Currently, we are
using modern scientific approaches to explain some phenomena in
Chinese medicine. Some new discoveries have been made, yet some
phenomena are still among the secrets of the human being.
In this workshop, we will try to introduce the history of
Chinese traditional medicine, its fundamental principles, and
diagnostic methods ---- looking, listening and smelling, asking
and palpation, the twelve primary channels. Through this
workshop, you can understand the basic knowledge of Chinese
medicine. It will be beneficial for your practice in the
clinical treatment of patients who suffer from mental problems.
